Another happy customer!

Had Steeda Progressive springs installed today at the main facility. I love the stance and look. Car feels really glued to the road now, with a lot less roll.

I'm really curious to hear your feedback! Do you by chance already have their bumpstops and shock mounts?

have the rear mounts i am not sure if i will try the modified stock ones yet or the billets. i have both, i never liked how the stock mount binds the rear shock this always puzzled me by Fords design. the bumpstops il be using cut down originals. I really want to tune the car without the bumpstops at all by using the spring and valving. we shall see how this works on the rutted crap i drive on.

Hmmm, I would suggest the bumpstops. I did that mod by itself and it made a difference. First I was told no need to even trim the bump stops when only dropping it 1". That was the general consensus back in the summer of 15. A while ago, Mike D (Steeda Tech) was helping me and asked about them. He said I should definitely trim them. When I took them out, they were really messed up. I trimmed them down to the indentation just above that black plastic. That was much better but on big bumps at high speeds it was still bad, those northeast roads! Then Steeda came out with the adjustable bumpstops and he recommended them. I only used the rear and they were definitely inexpensive enough it was worth the try and super easy to install. That finally took care of it. I just never expected I'd be hitting off the bumpstops so much. It may be still hitting but the urethane bumpstops just make it so much better!

As far as the mounts, I was shocked when I got them in. The pictures don't do them justice, they are so nice. I was most surprised though with the bearing in them allowing it to articulate to reduce binding. I didn't remember reading that in the description. I was just a little skeptical when wildcatgoal reported ride improvement from them but completely respect his opinion enough to try them. Again, still amazed at how all the parts together have really improved the ride.

Did you also do the Adj Pro Action shocks or your still on OEM or Ford Racing stuff? the reason i didn't order them at first is there is a note on the bottom that the fronts work but rears are still being tested. I was a bit worried after reading that as i do not want to be a test mule. curious why this is the case with these on the rear.

Unfortunately I bought the Koni adjustables. I think mine was order #2. Right after I got them, the Steeda Pro Actions were announced or I definitely would have gotten those. I have the Konis adjusted full soft in the front and .25 turns from full soft in the rear.

The opening in the bumpstop was just a little too big on the Koni shock tube. I put an O-ring just below it and it holds the stop and dust boot up fine.

The combination of the Steeda Progressive springs, Koni adjustables on full soft (better would be the Pro Actions), adjustable bumpstops (short) and shock mounts have jsut made the ride amazing though.

Where did you get the o-ring that holds the bumpstop? I am going to install the same setup soon.

I have a generic o-ring kit. I just pulled out one that fit well. I think it was the thread for the bumpstops I posted which size o-ring I used.

On Saturday I will be getting my Steeda Progressive Springs installed on my 2016 GT Auto Trans car. I currently have the Steeda Pro-Action Adjustable Shocks and Struts on the OEM non-PP springs. I plan on using the Ford Performance Jounce Bumpers (bump stops) for this install. I chose these because they are designed to be used with the Ford Performance Springs that have a 1 inch drop that is similar to the Steeda Progressive Springs. These bump stops are softer than the OEM bump stops that are currently on my car. I chose the Pro-Action Shocks & Struts because I was trying to improve the ride comfort on my GT although the handling did improve also. So far I think that the Pro-Actions have accomplished those two goals. I also chose the Steeda Progressive Springs for same reason, better ride. For me any improvement in handling with this set up will be a plus, but ride improvement is my main goal. I will see on Saturday how well these springs work out for me. I live in the Sierra Nevada western foothills so the first thing I plan on doing is take my car on a test drive on some twisty mountain roads where I will be able to test both ride quality and the handling.
