Anyone have any advice for the sway bar hitting the exhaust? I undid the other side to a few threads but it can't go much lower because of the exhaust. I've undone the bolts on the hangers which let it fall a bit, but not enough.

**Sway bar bolts are loose from where I started to remove it**

Go ahead and remove it and make life easier. It only takes 5 min. to completely remove it.

Use an Allen wrench to hold the top portion of the end links and a box wrench to loosen the nuts, followed by the four mounting bolts.

It's right there, but I still can't get it. I'm no body builder, but I wouldn't consider myself weak at all. It already seems so low, but I still need like two more inches even with a big pry bar on it

If I could get the bottom to seat I might have an easier time, but I can't get it to sit in the dip where the stop is

You do have the blue bolts completely removed on the side you are working on, right. Also there is an opening in the lower control arm, see if your bar will fit in there and push down

Yeah, they have been since the beginning. It feels like I've dropped it a ton, but I'm still inches from getting it in.

I've tried there too

If you remove the sway bar, you shouldn’t have to pry anything. You’re close! Just a little more work and patience and you’re there.

So... I'm an idiot. I still had my jack holding the subframe... I thought I had removed it, but I put it back when I removed the sway bar, to keep it even and remove tension. (No clue if I needed to do that, but it sounded right)

Do you have two floor hacks

I was just about to ask how you had the jack positioned in your last pic. You should be home free now!

Just make sure you have the bolts on the other side threaded in where you are comfortable and remove the jack. If that doesn’t work then do what @NGOT8R mentioned

EDIT: I see you already did and lowered the sway bar

Success! Passenger is in. I'm going to jack up the rotor, and thread the big blue bolts in a bit, then go do the other side.
Great job sir! Just a reminder, don’t forget to clock the spring isolators properly before boing all the way back up with the cradle. I noticed the top isolator wasn’t seated against the end of the coil in your pic.

Any tips for moving the subframe forward a bit?

You have to give your floor jack short bumps or pushes and wiggles to get the bolts lines up with the holes.
