For all crew with IRS braces installed, let me know if I am off base here...
I think the Steeda IRS braces fixed the following:
I am well aware and also affected by the dreaded driveline vibes between 40-60 mph in top gear.
Also, when slowly disengaging my clutch at extremely low rpms at a roll. It almost feels like clutch chatter and seems to be worst after warmed up. I was theorizing that it was a harmonic developing throughout the driveline in those cases. Chatter, in my experience, from misalignment and contamination seems to be more consistent when taking off from a stop/roll.
Anyway, after installing the IRS braces last weekend, I would say both symptoms have diminished almost completely now that the rear subframe is more tied in. Since I am extremely conscience of it, I feel like I detect each only slightly, but more what I would consider normal for the car.
Has anyone encountered similar behaviors? before and after the IRS braces?
