Hood struts

Me personally don't think that this MRT struts is better option than steeda or redline struts even considering mrt doesn't need drilling. The reason for that is that mrt struts put much more stress to the fender thin metal (point B on the picture) comparing to the point A of the "frame" (not a fender).
Hear you loud and clear on preference. Just saying that if a novice like me can install these without that nasty bended strut that 'iffiamj' had ...these MRT no-drills may be worth a look.

Stage III sells the redline premium right next to the MRT so buyers choice.

I started with the MRT Hood Struts as I've had them on my last 2 Mustangs and loved them. On my 15 however, they push the hood up slightly. Other people didn't see it much until I pointed it out but it really annoyed me. I bought the Steeda Hood Struts and love them! The MRT Hood Struts are now just laying on the floor beside my desk.

I have the Redline Hood Struts on my car. The same thing happened to me but fortunately no damage. I found that the hole I drilled in the battery cover wasn't big enough and pushed against the strut causing it to disconnect. I just opened the hole up more and that fixed the problem.

Installed mine per instructions and no problems at all.
It did take a bit to compress the shocks.
Excellent product!
