Trying to install the full length jacking rails on my 2015 mustang fast back but they don't fit. The inside bolt holes on my rails are about 38.25 and on my car are 37.25 what gives?

They are not symmetrical. There is a driver and passenger side.

I measured both rails inside bolt to inside and they are the same 38.25 even though one rail is about a quarter inch shorter?

Not sure then. My BMR ones were different lengths L to R but fit perfectly. I'm sure Steeda will help you.

Yeah I guess I'm just bad luck everything I've had to do with my car recently has ended up in some scenario where something has never happened before or something alone those lines

The rails are different lengths,I think the pass side is slightly shorter. If both rails you have are the same length than maybe you got 2 of the same side. Just a thought

Maybe try switching sides? Otherwise I’m not sure. Mine went on fairly easy but you have to hold it up even against the bottom of the car and get a bolt started at each end. Even then I’d to wiggle the bolt and rail to get one to start. If it’s off just a little you could try to oblong one hole just enough. Good luck,I feel your pain. Things don’t always go easy lol

Some have had them on the wrong side, I have not seen an issue where they didn't actually fit  ... can you give us a call tomorrow to see what may be taking place? I will show this thread to our install dept. to see if they have any suggestions.

Did you swap them from side to side and or end to end.

I installed mine with angled support towards the inside. They went on, but when I was getting them tighten down it didn't sit right.
Had to fip them around.
