I have the Steeda sway bar set and had them on the middle setting for both bars. I nearly lost the rear end in the middle of a semi-spirited turn at a stop light, and probably would have lost it if the electronic nannies didn't kick in. Would setting the rears to the lower notch helped with that? Or would it have made it worse seeing how I would be promoting oversteer now correct?
I'm not sure if you experienced oversteer or just lost the rear end under acceleration around the turn. IMO that's a different scenario.

A similar situation happened to me. But it also happened with the OEM GT PP setup (including tires) at the exact same location. My rear end would always give out in this same spot. Must be a really smooth portion of concrete in this spot or something. The stock suspension has some pretty bad understeer everywhere else.

I wanted more balance so the front went on the middle and the rear on the lightest. I drive on track mode and turn the traction completely off and I get the rear to kick out, but just a bit, then again I play with the throttle to balance it the car. With the traction control on, I don't have to play with the throttle, the car sorts it all out and no oversteer at all

Do you know when the oversteer occurred? Was your line abrupt? Sudden throttle application? Any bumps to upset the rear? If it was steady state and your oversteer wasn't entirely throttle-induced, then yes, softening the rear bar should help.

I really like your list of parts and enjoyed reading your feedback. I know it's a different topic, but how do you like your flowmaster fatback? Really not a much out there on it other than the flowmaster videos.

Interesting to read this. Do you have a PP or non PP GT?

I have the sway bars and other Steeda components installed as of last Thursday and took some spirited back roads the other day including taking some turn-offs from a main road to a side road at a pretty high rate of speed (30-35mph) and my rear-end was planted like glue. The turn in with the front wheels/suspension is just so precise and instantaneous. I love it!

I have my front bar set on hole 3 (one away from the firmest) and my rear set on hole 2 (middle hole and one away from the firmest) for reference.

I have a non PP. It could very well be the tires as I had MPSS on my G37 and took similar turns at even faster speeds with no issues. I guess I was just kinda expecting a little too much from the Mustang. There was throttle applied but it wasn't abrupt. I was trying to make the turn before the light turned red so I was accelerating up to the line, hit the brakes to shave speed , didn't apply any throttle until midway through the turn. The rear end didn't get squirrely until the turn was essentially completed and I was going straight again. Perhaps I gave it too much gas and the sub-par pzero neros couldn't handle it.

Hi there. Thanks for the complement. Honestly, it's kinda like the Ford Racing cat back, just with larger piping and a bit longer (comes closer to the cats). Not the best sound, nice and deep at low RPMs, gets a bit higher pitched at mid to higher rpm, but it makes an entrance and keeps things civilized. The wife only noticed the difference on a cold start and whe I get on it, otherwise, no complaints from her and I can keep a decent conversation with all passages with the windows up, windows down and you hear the thunder. Oh. And no drone at all. Fitment was really good and it gives enough play to tuck the tips or stick them out a good bit (mind you, they are welded tips) I heard the Magnaflow competition cat back and it's beautiful, deeper and more muscle like with and not obnoxious at all.

The stock non-pp tires are pretty terrible, particularly on the 18" rims. The 19" ones are wider and seems to give acceptable grip levels, but nothing like MPSS's.

I'll be sure to give my take on it. In the mean time, look at their test video: [ame]

I am actually a little disappointed in the marketing at end of video. IMO it detracts from what appears to be a decent idea for the differential bushing strengthening.

I agree, was good just showing the product and how it improved things, rest of it should have been edited out. Let the product stand on its own merits.

I actually kind of like the side by side list, A lot of people may not realize the other ones are a permanent modification or realize that there is going to be an increase in NVH. More information never hurts.
