Looking to change to the Steeda Clutch Spring. I am finding multiple part numbers, can anyone confirm what I need for the GT350? Looks like there is a spring, a perch, or a spring/perch kit...???

This is what you want:

It's just the spring and you reuse the existing perches. The two original springs get replaced with the one steeda spring. Easy procedure, move your drivers seat all the way back..Beware of the grease, bring paper towels

It took me 3 mins to pull the old spring and install the new one. EASY!

If your small needle nose vise pliers has trouble gripping the short spring like mind did, grab a part of the spring along with the middle plastic perch used for the secondary small spring(you wont use it with the new spring, so if it gets damaged or breaks, no problem).

Nice!

Wow, what a difference, best $18 I ever spent. Who in the hell at Ford thought a double spring set up creating non-linear clutch feel was a good idea? lol. BTW, I used a small vise grips (non-needle nose) that wouldn't fit between the spring coils so I simply grasped the top and middle perches (which hold the stock larger spring) and compressed to remove.

I'd like to give another Shelby with the Spring a try. I put in the Steeda spring and other than a very slight increase in pedal pressure I can tell no difference in clutch actuation. The stock double spring in my car is so smooth and light. I never felt anything odd or non linear with it. Thought the Steeda spring would be a night and day difference going off of all the high praise it receives. I'll be putting the stock spring back in to compare again. Maybe I just have a dead left foot.
