I wonder that too but I also wonder if I would ever feel a difference other than looking at numbers on paper. steeda was just hundreds cheaper at the time over going with steeda+lund so steeda got the money, doing just fine too.

Lund is well worth the money. Not just Because their tunes are awesome but their customer service is also. They are always willing to answer questions and/or look at data logs. I wouldn't use anyone else myself. Not taking anything from steeda. I'm sure there great also.

Once I get my headers coated and installed I'll be doing a Lund tune. I'm looking forward to seeing how much I put down on the rollers compared to what I have now. My plan is to have the car dyno'd the morning of the install so I have a relatively close baseline number to compare it to.

end of the day I'm just happy knowing I didn't spend extra for ngauge lol... i haven't touched my x4 since i put the tune on it... exactly why i didn't buy it because i knew i wouldn't use it and could just use $obd2 bluetooth adapter to get cool gauges and what not on my phone (that's me though at the time nguage+lund was $300+ more too)...well that and steeda power pack was $570 at the time lol....

i'd still like to try lund one day though whenever I feel like changing tstat and if i get headers. i might just get it dyno tuned whenever i get headers though by pro dyno.

it's still stupid though that you have to have the ngauge to get the lope tune...yay marketing...

Yeah when I purchased my CAI I knew I wouldn't be doing a tune till I had more power adders so I saved myself the money at the time. In the end it'll be a bit more but I did want a Lund tune anyways. I'm on the fence about the SCT vs. the nGauge but I though the same thing...why spend more money if you only use it once in awhile? I don't need the ability to view any engine parameter in real time and I don't want to clutter my interior with wires and a gauge.

Exactly. Definitely made more sense for me to get the x4 too since I always just tune my cars once and put the tuner back in the box haha

is the x4 perfect? no... computer stupid people will never figure out to install drivers for it because half time you need to tell windows to look on the internet for a driver even after installing sct software which was supposed to have the driver with the software....but other than that, for putting the tune on it's just fine lol. it's not as fast as an nguage loading a tune but it's not like it takes very long either.

I got mine installed yesterday. No problems. The roads were wet so I could not really feel the increase power.

Has anyone compared their steeds temps to their OEM filter temps?

I still have the OEM air box and consistently have temps 4 - 8 degrees above ambient. With the steeds restricted cai, I assume the same amount of air is still going into the intake?

I've notice al all around drop in intake air temps. It also drops faster then the stock filter.

i dunno if some bandcamp or whatever mac users use to emulate windows programs would still work or not.

nah microsoft and google have too much market share whether it's pc or phones.

macs are just underpowered, over priced pc with a different os. lol

I like the ipad but otherwise hate the phones and macs. I also do stuff that macs simply don't have the power for either. like power my sim racing rig lol.
