The claim that there is no adjustment is false. See above. It is a definite fault in their design (but can be worked around). I know why they did it but I would argue that the tradeoff isn't a good one. Sound and part quality is excellent but they could do much better here. None of the posts here have been fanboyish.

I had the same problem. Took it to an exhaust shop, they did some adjusting and bending of the hangers now they are perfect. Well worth the 50 bucks, I had adjusted on mine 10 or 15 times and could never get it.

Perhaps the rubber exhaust hangers are too long? Or the kit was supposed to come with new hangers and did not?

I installed an MBRP CAT back on my Fiesta ST and to get it to fit exactly right I had to leave everything loose, position it and it fit perfect- virtually no room to spare with the 3" pipes- tight fit- 1/2" clearance everywhere. But it fits and looks perfect. It did come with a complete set of new rubber hangers though- which were a little shorter than stock..

Every mustang exhaust I've installed had hangers as welded components of the muffler, not a separate bolt on item.

OP just needs to adjust it per recommendations. If it still falls back to what the pics show, get additional help. I've personally helped 3 others get their catbacks set right and no issues after that.

Same, I've installed a few and yes it can take some effort to get the tips right. I just whip out the breaker bar and make sure it's never going to move again once it's in position.

Using a jack underneath the mufflers, as well as under the support bar in the x pipe helps. Jack the muffler up as high as possible and then go HAM, it should settle in the right place. Go over the clamps again after a few days after they've had some heat/movement through them to make sure

When my LTH were put on, the shop half ass'd putting the Xtreme back on and it looked like the OP's. I didn't see it till a day later as I picked the car up in the evening after dark.

I was pissed enough to have my usual exhaust shop re-do the CB install and It was back to perfect as usual.

I mean the brace on the x pipe was so tilted that you could see it from behind the car at normal ride height.

One inch of mis-alignment in one area can cause three inches in another.

I have seen on some reviews that the non-active axle back has issues lining up, the active version seem to fit better, but still expensive

OP take time and follow BmacIL's advice. It looks like you slapped it on and just let it dangle while you tightened the brackets and clamps and expected it would be spot on. Did you have a friend help hold things in place while you tightened it? There are several adjustment points once you understand what your doing. Every clamp has adjustment and the black hanger brackets are also adjustable.

OP I had a Ford shop do a warranty driveshaft replacement. My car went in with level symmetrical exhaust/tips. It came out unlevel and the tips were off. Had to loosen all the clamps and readjust. I honestly believe your problem is not the exhaust but the install adjustment.

For a guy doing this in his driveway there's no way that he should need to put jacks under the mufflers and go thru some procedure to get installed and look right. That's just not reasonable. It's a design flaw as far as I'm concerned. But beware the take it to a muffler shop, too...AWE told me when I was having serious problems with their axle back that if I had it welded up, so it would sit right and mate up with the midpipe due to their design flaw, they would void the warranty. So just keep that in mind.

Most of these auto resellers and such have terrible service and warranty's.

Back to front doesn't work well for the corsa catback because of where the joints are. You have to get the double X-pipe secure to the headers while holding the mufflers up. This positions the entire catback, and securing the X to the headers before finishing the mufflers helps reinforce the 'should be' position, as it won't droop from the most forward joint being loose.

The Borla/FP Borla system I installed recently is much more straightforward, but also has three pairs of joints vs two for the Corsa. It's all worth it once done, though.
