Nope. Mine were one and done. They worked and then they didn't. I never had an intermittent issue. I'd be curious to see what your motor looks like taken apart. Wonder if your leads are fraying or if it is truly just heat.
Yeah, mine did that heat soak thing for 2 days. Has still been 100% reliable since those days - I'm just worried about getting stranded at my next track day. Definitely going to be getting chocks so I can let the car cool down while on in the future.
