I saw people saying that was Rey but it doesn't look like her. Thoughts?

It looks like a darker Rey, I mean literally. Like Anakin had a darker look to his face.

I saw another video post where it does look like her. I suppose it's the moment of this capture that threw me off.

This will probably be a heck of a movie!

The camera was panning out so there looks to be some blurring. I thought this snap of the clip they showed just looks so cool. It may never come to fruition that Rey goes to the dark side of the force but the clip they showed of Rey with this dual blade light saber that flips down into a double bladed (Darth Maul) light saber is cool.
JJ is in the driver's seat so it should be a great movie.

May be a stunt double but I don't see the character going that direction though she may struggle inwardly. Just my opinion. If you saw Solo you know who the potential adversary of Rey could end up being..............Hans long lost first love. I see Rey turning Kylo to the good side...and then a massive battle between Rey and Solo ex hottie. Sorry haven't watched Solo in a while and can't remember her name.

I'm betting that image is from some kind of dream sequence or Force vision, like in ESB when we saw Luke's face in Vader's helmet in the cave on Dagobah.

Some good characters make great evil character. Remember Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the Willow Rose character became a vampire for a moment?

Disney has destroyed the franchise, well continued the destruction that Lucas started with the crap prequels. Saw the original in theatres as a young teen and could not get enough. Now - no plans on seeing this one at all, did not see Solo either, I am done with them.

I agree Disney has already announced a slew of new "Star Wars" movies and other shows so many does anyone remember what the Movies where originally about. The theme parks show that Disney is going to ring every cent the can out of the franchise before the abandon it.

When they're bringing in close to a billion or more per sequel/prequel, at the box office, they'll keep bleeding it till there is nothing left. Hey, why not!?
