Does it sit flush? I've been wanting to replace the back pony, but don't want water leaking in or anything like that.

The pony sits on the plastic panel, which is outside the trunk lid. Even if it leaked water would not get into the trunk.

It does sit flat on the panel tho. I am very happy with the new pony.
