Thanks to Paul at Need 4 Speed for a nice deal on this package. Handling is better, steering is too and I'm shocked to say even the ride is better. 255/35/20 front, 295/30/20 rear.

I've had them on for a week and have had more compliments in that time than in 5 months of owning the car.

Looks great and love that wheel finish on the Ruby. So what tires (brand) did you go with?

I love those wheels! I know lowering is not for everybody, but that setup dropped would look amazing!!!!!

Thanks! Toyo Proxes 4 Plus.

Thanks! I'm gun-shy to drop this one after lowering my 2010. The ride quality was ruined. But I thought it was "needed" on the S197s they sit so high stock. I like the stock height on the S550 enough to leave it alone. That's what I keep telling myself, anyway. :D

Yeah, def not as 4x looking as S197's. If l lower mine it'll be with the BMR minimal lowering springs.

woot !

I would say a nice 1" drop will actual benefit the car, these new S550s arent like the S197 where the ride changes so much and you hate yourself, it actually still keeps a nice ride to it. Keep in mind when you lower the wheel and tire quality def play a big part of it. In this case you got great wheels and tires.

Recommend the Steeda progressive or the Eibach pro kit.

Legit! I think I might do a 295 for my next set up. Just put on a 305 in the rear today.

That looks awesome. Why would you try a 295 set-up next time? Do you regret the 305 set-up already? Just curious.

Thanks man, I'm not necessarily regretting, it just bulges a little bit.

I also had the thought of doing a slight roll. Maybe 1/8th" to a 1/4".

Sick! The SC1's were my first choice for quite some time.

Your pic has me thinking I should call up Paul and tell him to screw waiting any longer for these damn 6GR's and send me some Stance SC1's! Lol

Go for it!

Paul was a big help with all of this. Highly recommendable.
Paul is actually the guy that's in charge of the 6GR wheels so I've been working with him since I put the deposit on the 6GR's way back in November.
