Definitely like the sounds of the SW! I had the Roush axle-backs on my 2013 GT and loved the sound. However, I want to go catback this time around.

This is my favorite combo that I want. I've been wanting the 5.0 with the Stainless works exhaust ever since they came out with their first video for the 2011 5.0. This year I finally get my chance :).

I am very, very curious as to how these systems will sound with the new 5.0. By almost all accounts it would seem the Coyote in the 2015's has a much more...Cobra Jet sound. Especially given the video Ford Racing did, it sounds like a straight up race motor drag car.

Same, I'm hoping the sound is reltaively the same when you slap on the full exhaust system. I would say it might sound very similar since the building block was the 2011 5.0 block. How much will the revised camshaft timing, bigger exhaust and intake valves, and new manifold change the sound, personally I can't say. I would expect it to be relatively close though.

So, I think I could figure out how to install a cat back system. But how involved is a long-tube header install?

Would the long-tubes be required to get optimal performance or is it more for the throaty sound. Seems like it's required for the complete performance package, but thought I'd ask.

That sound....

Race Car!!!!!

Cat back should be much easier this time around. Unbolt, get off hangers, put new one on and a rebolt. Last Gen were over axle ...you needed a lift ! :(.

As for headers id imagine they aren't too difficult ...they are sort of closer to the ground. But ill defer to someone who's actually changed headers before!

Headers were an absolute bitch to install on my 2011. Looking at the underside shots of the 2015 they look about the same dimension-wise. I have a neat timelapse video of me installing my headers in my shop. Search 'Stanger427 timelapse header install', I can't link directly as YouTube is blocked here at work.

Several things to be aware of with headers is that they remove the stock cats which greatly increases the loudness of the exhaust, and also they move the O2 sensors much further downstream. This can cause many issues with check engine lights and driveability. Don't buy the first or cheapest headers that hit the market as they will likely cause many more issues than their worth. Never, never, NEVER USE O2 SENSOR EXTENSIONS!!!!!!!!!!!
