SS Brake Lines

For all those saying stock rubber lines are ok, guess you've never had a brake failure at the track...

You are correct, I don't run at the track and the OP's first post never mentioned anything about racing so it is understood he was making a general observation about the GT/PP brake performance.

I agree with going SS lines, as long as they are installed correctly.

Here is a customers car, this was installed by another shop ;)

UPDATE: Called Cortex racing and they suggest "Goodridge" lines. They come with the upgraded Ford racing brake kit and is what they use on the s550 race cars. So I have some on they way. I'll report back once I have a chance to play with them.

How have the SS lines performed for you? I am curious about this upgrade as well since I track the car too.

I’ve heard I have great brakes. Everyone that drives my car the first thing they talk about is the brakes. So far I have the lines, with Baer 6S Brakes front and rear along with SRF brake fluid.
