Springs that don't change height

Are there any quality springs out that don't drop the height? I am looking to add spring and sway bars but don't want to change the ride height.

It would be nice if there were springs that didn't drop or only dropped 1/2 inch. Everyone cares about looks but they pay no mind to how lowering will change suspension geometry. Not to mention making it over speed bumps.

Springs also lower the Mustang's centre of gravity and reduce squat on acceleration.

Why don't you add swaybars first and see if you like the difference? Highly suggest the adjustable variety.
For your spring question- I don't know of any; even adjustable coil-overs highest height is lower than factory (for previous models).
Like VRYALT3R3D said, the changes in lowering suspension are geared towards more aggressive handling characteristics. Factory suspension is set up for compliance, not optimized for feel or handling.

Why do you want springs? Stiffer?

If you want an OEM height, I would recommend grabbing some springs from a PP.

Fender heights on a PP car are about 28.5" Front, and 28.2" Rear.

You should measure your car and see how it compares to that.

The PP Springs are pretty decent OEM pieces, with rates of 165lbin F and 728lb/in Rear.

I am going to make a post tomorrow with some stance pics of our springs. We don't really drop the rear much, but drop the front a little. We spent quite some time testing various springs and heights, and are going to release springs that we feel are the best overall in terms of height and performance.

Agreed on the center of gravity and squat but at least on my old S197 lowering changed the camber curve in the front and reduced grip in the back because of the angle of the control arms. This is why there were longer ball joints and control arm relocation brackets available.

In the front the camber curve gets screwed up because as the suspension compressed the camber would max out negative and start going back toward positive before it bottoms out. I watched it happen when I put my S197 on an alignment rack and winched it down. Steeda ball joints fixed that problem. I'd like to know if this is an issue with the S550.

In the back the control arms connected to the axle were angled up towards the rear causing traction loss under load. Control arm relocation brackets fixed that. I know, I know, the S550 is an IRS but I'd like to know what lowering does to it.

I posted these questions in other threads but I was either ignored or no one had an answer. Once again, these are my experiences with my 05 and the only way to find the answer with the S550 is to test it on an alignment rack by slowly loading the suspension and seeing what it does.

Oh and after I added the ball joints, everyone wondered how I was getting so much grip at autocrosses on street tires. It's amazing what proper suspension geometry will do.

Also, lowering springs lower the center of gravity but it also lowers the roll center which would need to be compensated for. Sway bars will help but ball joints are a better fix.

Let's say you lower the car 1" - I think that's going to become a common amount for the S550. That's only a 5% reduction in lateral load transfer in the corners and a 5% improvement in forward load transfer under braking . . . and it's also a 5% loss in rearward load transfer for acceleration, so some of the reduced squat is coming from having LESS "weight transfer". Basically, the car will look like it gained more performance than is actually the case. Which I guess is good enough for a lot of people.
