You can reuse, but always best to get new gaskets. The ones that come with the headers aren't good though. Shop around for the OEM ones, the price on that Amazon listing is high.

I’d say go for it! Looks like the same ones I ordered from amazon.

You had them installed already? Whats your impression of them and how did the install go?

Install went good. Longer than expected though. About 8 hours. You’ll have to order oem gaskets and longer exhaust flange bolts too.

Love them. I like the exhaust note a lot better, and it’s got more torque and power. Not a huge change but it’s noticeable. Now that I have them I’ll always have a pair of shorties on. The install was really rough, a knuckle buster for sure but that was the first time doing headers and I don’t have a ton of experience with mechanic stuff.

I see! The only issue I just thought of is the carb certification. Obviously amazon and ebay sellers dont care about that so I think my only option is gonna be spending hella money on the BBK shorties :/

For CARB, only option is BBK, you're right on that unfortunately.

Wouldn't you technically still meet CARB if you keep the stock cats? Does changing to shorties affect emissions? I'm curious about this.

I don't think it would affect emissions, but afaik, every part of the system has to be CARB certified.

It really doesnt affect emissions but once they look at the headers and realize they’re aftermarket they’ll want a CARB number

I see. In my state, far as I know, they don't do a physical check of the entire exhaust. They'll look at mufflers, noise compliance (for non-oem exhausts) and the over all physical condition of the car. They use the obdii port to check most things.
