Going on 5 years of GT ownership and will have some more time/money next winter for a small build.

Has anyone documented the results from a 18+ intake manifold, 18+ stock CAI, long tube headers and a tune with actual track times? Preferably a MT82 car.

I'm debating those mods vs biting the bullet and spending on a power adder instead.

Thanks, I haven't been super active on this board in a while.

Power adder is far more of a win, as far as $/HP depending on what you go after.

If going NA (and i havent used the 18 mani) the gt35 setup is FAR FAR easier with less headaches. or potential headaches.

I think it all comes down to what you intend to do with your car.

Hey thanks for the feedback. Yeah I'm well aware of the $/HP ratio is better with a power adder, but just trying to see if a budget build can get me into enough power that I can be happy with.

The GT350 manifold is marginally better, but a lot more money, so going with an 18+ IM is on track for a budget build to me. If I was going start spending more, then I'd go power adder.

I might also consider throwing on nitrous down the road for some fun at the drag strip

Dyno numbers are only part of the equation, time TO power which isnt quantified by dyno's are at play. Again i havent messed with the 18 but have a new one on the shelf, and chose the 350 setup.
Obviously 18 is slightly more budget friendly, my opinion, and why i scrapped the 18 idea is, the 350 intake is plug n play, its simple, and nothing weird with the imrc's/pigtail issues etc.

The final convincer for me was ford essentially went to this setup for the bullit and mach's, it works and makes power.
