After months of reading up on the new Mustang and asking questions I finally special ordered one. It'll be here in a couple months!

2016 Ecoboost Premium, Manual, Deep Impact Blue w/ Ceramic Interior, Reverse Sensing, Spare Tire, and Navigation. I skipped the "401A" package bc I didn't really need the memory seats or upgraded audio. I got it for around $3,200 below sticker.

I've got a pretty long commute, so I'll be keeping my current car (2011 Hyundai Sonata 2.0 Limited) as a commuter car and will mostly drive the Stang on the weekends and after work for the first year. Looking forward to having this car for a while!

Congrats, nice color choice too. My second color was going to be DIB with dark saddle interior.

DIB and Ceramic leather...YES!...be sure to post pictures when your new baby arrives. It's going to be hard to get behind the wheel of your Sonata after your new Mustang arrives...you'll see!

Why not dd your ecoboost? Good mpg and it's a blast to drive. They'll make plenty more mustangs in the years to come for whenever yours becomes worn out.

I was going to trade my Sonata in for a 2015 but the dealership tried to drop trade in value by $1000 bc the "rims had been curbed too many times" even though they were safe. I walked out and special ordered from another dealership...

I'm going to try and use it as a commuter car for a year just bc it's a 230 mile total commute back and from work. I alternate days and stay two nights a week away from home bc it's so long.

The depreciation cost on the Mustang vs keeping the Sonata (paying insurance, parking at my building, maintainence, etc...)is virtually the same, so I'll just see how this goes. I might be a pain in the rear and I'll just sell it later.

Congrats! I just ordered last week and the days have been dragging along. I'm sure being on this forum 24/7 doesn't help. That set-up sounds absolutely beautiful. Do you have any mods in mind? Even just little aesthetic ones?

If you go on YouTube there's a guy who has done like 40 Mustang Ecoboost update videos. One of those videos he installed like an aftermarket tuner which upped the torque to almost V8 level. Also there was a fuel economy mode that reduced the power to up the highway mpg...so I'd probably do that.

First thing is first I'm going to pay for an extended warranty and make sure I have a reliable vehicle. Once that is done I'm down to try some mods

Here is the one I almost bought. It's already tinted, so this is what mine will look like. Love the DIB. The only color I like more is Liquid Blue but that isn't an option unfortunately

Love the DIB with ceramic interior. I also went with this color combo. Besides the looks it I'm hoping it's a bit better in the heat than the ebony interior.
