Another option, collar on the bottom flips to accommodate short or tall insulators.

Yep closes
I just used the little circle wire thingy to open, pulls it up and I compress w this if I need. Per ngk video

Yes, that's all it does. You still have to use some other tool to verify the gap and open the gap if you go too far.
To me a total waste of money since you basically have to use a at least 1, if not two, other tools to set the gap.
I'll stick with my tried and true wire guage tool I've had for years and probably set all the plugs in the time it takes to do 2 or 3 with that...

7 dollars got me a full on feeler gauge set. closing the gap is the harder part to me. I tried doing it with the wire gauge thing to close the gap and felt like it could bend it not 100% straight down. im happy with the little gizmo, the spark sets ive already done paid itself off to me.
