I've only had one flat in 40 years of driving, but it happened on the interstate. By the time I could get to a safe place to change the tire, it was shredded. The repair kit wouldn't have done me much good then!
Holy hell. You must not live in a place with winters.

Drive over potholed pavement every day... I average about one flat a year.

Half that time was spent in SoCal, where there is no weather whatsoever. Other half in TN, where the winters are mild and the roads (the ones that I use anyway) are pretty good.

I've had plenty of punctures and slow leaks, but was always able to drive to a repair facility except for that one time. :clap2:

Slow leak, fine. What about an unlikely sidewall failure? Wait on a Tow truck, I`ll pass.
