What are you guys using for spare rims?

I have a set of 255/40's, They are studded winter's, no road salt up here so would be nice to be out on weekends was hoping to find a 9.5" rim to run front and back.

The tire places I talked to weren't sure if the rims listed for the mustang would clear the brakes. I see another guys post who cut down some 8.5's, didn't want to post off topic. Are different offsets needed or can all four be the same.

Why wouldn't GT PP wheels fit, just be notably inset up front (which ain't a bad thing when preventing snow from spraying everywhere all over your car).

GT350 brakes are larger than PP brakes. They won't clear.

I thought there were GT350 brake kits that can be put on GTs and the 19" PP wheels still fit. My bad.

Will any 20" mustang rim work? I would rather just buy a cheap set of aluminum's and run skinny studded tires rather then swap tires. There isn't much snow on the roads, its mainly asphalt and glare ice.

I couldn't find a cheap alternative in any size the that was guaranteed to fit over the brakes...Most reasonably priced set, guaranteed to fit, are the 6GR R specs but these won't give you the skinny set you're looking for.

No concerns about salt, sand, chemicals???
