Do you former BMW guys use the turn signals now, or still just cut everyone off?
I have always used my turn signal. screw you if you don't. however, I was following a BMW today and he was driving his suv like a race car and ran two red lights. where's a cop when you need em.

E90post was a fantastic resource back in the earlier days when Bimmerpost was in its infancy and the cars weren't all that attainable, like pre-1addicts merger in '09-'10. Really similar feeling to current M6G. It devolved over time as the user base grew and the used market picked up the younger crowd. The forum still has some bits of gold, but it's largely junk at this point.

M6G's key is a warm community and solid moderation. As long as it stays uncluttered and supervised, I think it'll continue to grow successfully.

Haha, I haven't had an issue yet with Beemers. I still can confirm in Ca, the biggest A hole drivers are driving Priuses.

I picked up my blinker certificate with my S550's title :). But seriously who doesn't want to show off those sequential lights!

I always use the turn signal but I always get cutoff by Toyota Corolla. Have to tap the brakes occasionally to keep off my back. My wife is the regular driver of the BMW and she is a left lane runner and jumps in queues at the latest point possible. My daily driver is a 1999 Ford Ranger XLT Manual. I can't wait for my Mustang to get in town.

I'm happy to see people buying a car that puts a smile on their face and maybe makes "whatever commute time they have" a more enjoyable part of the day. I respect the v6, the power they've put in to those is awesome compared the the old ones, hell even other modern 6 cylinder cars on the road. The ecoboost fills a cool niche, MPG of an econocar (kinda), looks, features, and certain performance aspects of the GT. Then the GT itself. Not much needs to be said for that. To me it is a piece of American muscle that actually has enough refinement to make the driver feel as if they're driving an actual luxury car (once again, kind of) with muscles.

Wait a minute, BMW's come with turn signals? :eyebulge:
I too used to have BMW's. Went from a SN95 to the BMW camp. That lasted about 10 years (Still hold a place in my heart for the e46 M3) and then I sold my last one off. I shortly ended up in a S197 because it was just way too good of a deal to pass up. That car just works well. Sure it's unrefined but I loved it. Still do. And hate on the 4.6 all you want. Mine has been stone reliable at over 150k miles and it sounds good.

So naturally when the S550 became an idea I was on board from early on. And I love it.

Now if I could just figure out where the damn turn signals are at on this thing........

Now if only we could pass the olive branch to the Camaro's and realize it's not Ford vs Chevy, it should be us vs the German's (Audi, BMW, VW...)!

It always amazes me how people will belittle somebody's car choice and judge them. If you're a car guy, like power, want more of it, and appreciate other cars, then you're ok by me. I don't care what you drive. Unless you're just an A-hole.... Lol.

I've done a lot of track days with other makes of cars, and I've met some great people and made some good friends that I never would have if I just hung around Mustang people. That said, there are definitely people that look down their nose at you if you drive a "inferior" car - which just makes it that much more sweet when you pass them :-)
