Pics of Aftermarket Mufflers on Mach 1?

Recently installed a Borla Atak on my wife's GT and have fallen in love with the sound. I want to do the same to my Mach 1 but I'm worried about how the slightly smaller tips would look. If anyone on here has put mufflers with 4" tips like the Borla's on their Mach 1, could you share some pics?

I'd do an H or X pipe resonator delete to the stock M1 exhaust. Sounds amazing

Not sure who did it. But I think the recommended is use gt500 borla cat back. It has large tips that fit the opening like it was designed.

I saw those on a GT500. They look pretty amazing--the only thing I've seen that looks as good or better.

@Zelek , has the Borla Attack on his car along with LTH. Im pretty sure it is the GT500 kit he used.

Yes, you want the Borla ATAK for the GT500. It fits perfectly and the tips are even larger than the stock Mach 1. It looks as incredible as it sounds. The only downside is it's really expensive.

To save a future headache, the pipes connect just fine off of stock headers with the Mach 1 adapters that Borla has to connect to those. If you're doing 3" connect pipes off headers, you will need to have an exhaust shop expand the Switchfire pipes from 2.75" to 3" to either clamp or weld it.

Thanks everyone! I had no idea about the GT500 Borla Atak until this. I went ahead and ordered that. Perfect solution. Get's the cat back I want with zero cutting to the stock exhaust (in case I ever need/want it again), retains active exhaust functionality, and offers exhaust tips that properly fill the Mach 1 rear valence. Just gotta empty my damn bank account... I'll post pics and sound clips once I get it installed.

I have quiet hours set and I usually start it with the garage closed then open it afterwards.

Since I installed my X-Pipe, I have the Quiet Start set for 24hrs. Just a little too loud in any other setting for my poor neighbors. I leave it there unless I want to impress. The X-Pipe basically increased sound levels by one setting across the board, and sounds especially awesome in Sport Mode.
