I was in the same boat until I looked at a few non-premier interiors. They had the same ugly white stitching as the premier interiors. I think the only place white stitching is added is the edge of the dash.

Hopefully a black Sharpie will do the trick.
I thought the non-premier trim had black stitching? I'm taking delivery of mine tomorrow morning, so I guess I'll find out then!

This was a big mental hangup for me so I spent some time yesterday looking at cars back and forth and back and forth etc.

I compared two cars, one 400a with ebony leather and one 400a with premier trim ebony leather.

1. The door upper is very noticeably different, soft touch and nicer texture in the premier trim.

2. The front seats are softer, have a smoother texture, and additional white stitching in the premier trim. Much much nicer!

3. The console arm rest, shifter boot, and dash cover all have white stitching on the premier trim. The non premier dash stitching is just molded into the dash, it isnt actually stitching and looks considerably more...inexpensive. The non premier shifter boot and console arm rest have real stitching.

4. I couldnt tell the difference in softness or texture of the door arm rest and console arm rest between the two.

To me the premier interior trim is very much worth it. I think the interior looks a lot nicer with the added stitching and the softer materials on the seats and door panel are very nice. It'd be a no brainer if it were readily available on dealer lots.

The premium (at least GT) has white stitching on the ebony seats and glove box.

The Premier accent trim gives you an extra row of white (contrast) stitching on the seat bolsters, and white stitching on the dash (probably the shifter boot but I have an auto) and around the radio (black molded "stitching" on the basic premium GT but only noticeable if you're looking for it honestly). I have to disagree with the above as my center counsel has white real stitching.

The doors are soft touch which is nice, but unless you drive with your arm on the top of the door, you will rarely notice it. The leather may or may not be a little nicer, its very subjective.

My Ecoboost Premium has black leather with white stitching. The Premier trim package has black/ebony leather with red-stitching.

Quite right Stulaw.

Premier trim does not necessarily have red stiching, there is ebony which has black leather and white stitching and red line which has black leather, red stitching, and red panels in the middle of the doors. This is not to be confused with the non premier red line interior which is red leather on the seats! lol

When I first read your post I thought that your were trolling as they say. My first impression was to go to my sarcastic bag and ask...Really? $400 bucks, the cars $40,000.

I could understand if the cost was $1,400. But I still would have paid that before I'd get Recoro's. The Recaro's are good at what they are designed for, holding you inplace while tracking. However, the non-Recar's are very well bolstered for holding you inplace and are 10X more comfortable.

After reading further...I guess you weren't. For me it was diffenently worth it! The soft a butter feel of the leather, the touch of class stiching and the soft touch upper door and dash is just what you'ed want in your Mustang.

Trust me ...you will not be disappointed. It could very well be the best 1% of $40,000 that you'll ever spend.

For me the leather is so much better it's easily worth it. Very soft and high quality as opposed to the usual had Ford processed leather. The soft-touch upper door panels are nicer than the others, but it's not a glaring difference. Visually, the black is very subtly different, while Premier Redline is completely unique. I love it. I think it's too bad you can't get a tan or gray Premier interior, but maybe in 2016.
