Looks awesome. I also was expecting this to be tacky, and have been corrected. It's very subtle and nice. I'm down for white light with tint. I just want it to be on all the time with the hash marks.

I like the idea of it being on with fog lights, but this would be a nice option too. Maybe we could figure out a wire to just wire a button into the inside wall of the parking brake like I saw someone do for their on/off switch for turbo fans. It looks very subtle that way and gives you the freedom. We just have to find out how to rig it up... I'm not very good with that kind of stuff or I'd be heading inside to find out

If you go with the fog lights you will cut off whenever you use that side turn signal.

That's the exact reason I don't want to run to my fogs. Plus, when the sun starts going down on my way home from work everyday, I like to run just the hashes on to look extra sinister haha!

Is that how they work? TIL..
Wiring them shouldn't be an issue. It's just a matter of where to run wires and which to tap. We can probably find the wire for the DRLs if that's what people want to go with. Either way, the kit would be the same, the instructions would just change.

I'm trying to hammer out the best way to do a bunch of these. I can spend 5 hours and make one for myself perfect, but that's not very effective to spread the love.

I did toss your name and showed what you had to DD so they may contact you soon for a mass marketing gig, but if you did spend the ~5hrs to make one, what would you want to charge for that kind of love? Materials price included. Sorry to be pushy, we just love what you've made!:D

I'm assuming this will work with most aftermarket ponies as well but how about the Stanginator? Probably wouldn't look right I'm assuming cause it's a little different size?

This kit would fit into the existing black molded pony outline in the grille. I haven't taken a close look at the Stanginator but if it (or any other aftermarket Pony) fits in the oem spot you should be good to go. The only difference being more or less of the lighted panel showing.

If you look back at the pictures, there's really not a lot showing. Maybe 1/8" all the way around.

Does the Stanginator use the original mounting spots?

Good to know. Hopefully someone with a Stanginator could chime in since I didn't get around to ordering one yet but I'm pretty sure it uses the original mounting spots. I just know the tail and such are a little shorter so wasn't sure how that would look with the light behind it
