So far I have had zero issues driving around with this setup and no problems with touching the accelerator accidentally. I have smaller feet so it was really hard for me to rev match at all. AttiS550 actually hit it right on with the description.

Check under the hood of your/a buddies current car. All modern cars are sold as CA emissions compliant. Easier and cheaper for the mfg to sell cars that meet the most stringent emission regulations, than to try and make yet another option. Not to mention the headache it would create for owners...
