Soft Glow Pony Emblem Surround

I saw a mercedes that had the grille emblem surrounded with a soft glow LED that was juuuust strong enough to be seen with the headlights on at night. It looked pretty sweet.

I'll snag a picture next time if I'm not going the opposite direction at speeds I would rather not have to lie about.

But who else thinks the idea of a streamline glowing outline of the running pony on the grille would look sweet?

EDIT:

the "illuminated star" is what MB calls it. My moms C63 has it. its like a 500 buck optional if i remember correctly.

Ive actually thought this. So far I'm at getting a 3D printed pony in clear plastic like [MENTION=6944]zackmd1[/MENTION] made for the toggle switched on base models. sanding it down to diffuse the light and not have it just shine through it.

If you could make some prototypes I would love to see the product, I'm interested in both as well, I lean more towards the outline but the other option is equally interesting

Front and back would be awesome, I'm not sure how you'd get the back ones lit without drilling somewhere though.
