So I know convertibles have some extra bracing, but is there a list of everything they have that other cars don't?

And any advice on the best things to add to strengthen up a convertible even more?

Rather than start a new thread...I will sorta kinda hijack this one seeing as it is looking to die a slow death.
I am very much interested in a GT vert. But am conflicted on how to option the car...
Now that 2016 will have the PP option...i do not want to "waste" my money.
I am also 90% certain that the car will get coilovers since I want to do the occasional AutoX and open track outting as well as lowering the car the right way (in my mind at least). (please, no lectures on convertibles and track days...as it is a car that I want to be able to hand off to my kids in 20 years), and my days of motorcycles and tracks are winding down -which could change in the future if either of my kids take to bikes...(another topic)

I am concerned that any differences between the coupe and vert might hinder any ideas that I might have.
In order to get the PP with improved cooling, brembos, and gearing, I will be paying for the suspension just to replace it (I suppose it could be worse...).
I wish you could get Recaros with the vert, but such is life, if I need em I am sure that I will find a way later on down the line...

One reason for concerns is that earlier in the quest for information (and before the announcement that the verts for 2016 would be able to get the PP) it seemed that a lot of kits that I was looking at specifically excluded the convertibles.

What I know of:

Strut Tower brace
KBrace
Undercarriage bracing up front

I would probably add the Steeda G-Trac (which I plan to do) and one of the IRS kits BMR or Steeda offer. You could also install a roll cage :)

MDW195, I'd get the PP on the vert (would have if it had been offered) just for things not suspension related. Then I'd get some coilovers or at least better damped shocks to fix the bounce, IRS lockouts and the G-Track brace (or something similar).

I'm sure the Recaros will fit. Find someone who hates them and get a set.
