I have replaced both right side arms and the left side upper. After dealership put a non-PP upper arm on left side I put Steeda upper control arms on both sides. Now the left lower control arm is done. I've ordered Steeda lower control arms so I can put them on both side.. The arms are failing at the spindle. Is this common to go through control arms?

Not being a wise guy, there's 2 possibilities.

1. It may not have been torqued correctly or something else in the chain failing/wrong. Weird camber, weird tire rim combo, strut/spring combo etc

2. (im not being a dick) Do you avoid hole, bumps, obstructions etc when you drive or just drive wherever the road is going? <<<< Not judging and most people seem to do this

1. What made the originals fail coming from the factory (I know just because it's new doesn't mean something can't be wrong with it but all 4 arms). 295 tires on 11" rims, Steeda struts w GT350R springs. I expect the shop to of done a correct alignment. After I change these two arms I will have it aligned again.

2. If you were behind me, you would probably think I'm drunk dodging holes. I even climb out of the ruts.

Big tires, dropped height, and camber can all push the limits. You sound like youre about like me, I hit NOTHING, riding with non car people or an average woman absolutely kills me, they almost aim at every hole.

I think, as I am going to do, is got spherical on all 4 with extended ball joint, and bump steer kit, booter with lots of grease. JMO, i think that points everything where it needs to be and is rigid to not get lazy into a bad position.

19" rims?
Don't get me started on the ol'lady; she has a Mercedes with AMG kit (so it's stiff) and has had the passenger side control arms replaced I don't know how many times. I hate riding with her.

Should I get the extended ball joint?

Yes 19" rims

With my car (bought used with 56k ) it had been lowered on steeda sport/progressives. The ultralites dropped me another 1/4-3/8 ish? I notice while doing work on my car everything thats been put out of factory position via height, is played out in some fashion. I dont know if previous owner was a hole hitter or ditch rider etc, who knows. The car interior is a 9.9 out of 10 and the exterior is a 8/10, those things were taken care of.

Not drastic necessarily, but when i got the car, I had to replace front wheel bearings, rears appear to be shot too, and as I go along with the car, I just keep going along doing things that will prevent future failure and diminish the amounts of future maintenance.

So, it is merely my opinion, yes get the extended ball joints. I cannot speak on how spherical's are in keeping things from falling apart, but would definitely lower the ability for the suspension to do weird angles which will wear parts. ALL SPECULATION i have no direct experience, I am still getting my education on this chassis.
