I am not following/understanding.

They do not have any for sale, every transmission shifter mount is out of stock.

Viewing the separate model years, the only thing I can spot different. Is the rear bushing, that is mounted to the tunnel/body.

It''s removed from the rear of the shifter and tossed

The Blow Fish bracket, attaches to the transmission . At the rear top a new rear bushing and bracket. It mounts the shifter and the Blow Fish together

Results is a shifter & transmission as a single unit. home run.

I think the Blow Fish & a rear bushing could be offered as two separate parts.

The customer buy's the Blow Fish, and picks the rear bushing for the car or shifter.

Sounds like another small business bites the dust thanks to covid. Glad I got my bracket 4 years ago when I bought the car.

I picked one up 3 month ago and had no issue with delivery. Just because they are out of stock does not mean going out of business. Building on demand is a good way to lower carry costs.

Wrong interpretation .....

Not saying they're going out business, just the product.

That said I see nothing saying it will be produced down the road.

I completely understand stale inventory.

INHO....the product does for the MT-82. What the Hurst Competition Plus did for the old 3sp.

And would like to get my hands on one

Very happy for both of you having the product, in the car or laying on the shelf.

Thanks for the clarification. I did misunderstand your interpretation. I would think they would take down the links if they were moving away from the products. Perhaps they are just creating cashflow during the tough times. While I agree that newer shifters provide the same capability as a total package, they tend to be at a higher price point so having this option is nice when on a budget (me).

time will tell i suppose.

I bought mine because it allows you to retain the factory shifter. I don't track my car, it's a convertible, so I don't need a better shifter and I wanted to maintain originality.
