I hve the following mods
Cobb tune
Downpipe
Intake
My mustang when idle will smoke alot
But not everytime. I checked the oil and it was down about a half quart on 4500
on oil 14000 miles total on car

Buy a catch can, gut the pcv. This is a widely known fix for the smoke problem.

I wonder if there is a recall already or is something that will happen sometime soon, so I don't have to install and spend anything aftermarket and void my warranty.

Do you have the recall number? I looked last night but could not find it.

Could be I was searching the wrong place... I was being a "Google Warrior".

TSB 15-0192 and it's a service bulletin not a recall so you're gonna have to tell them it's smoking and they may even try to replicate the issue before they replace it. Take the PDF in with you. It's worth a try I haven't done it. The recommended fix is still to buy the UPR Dual Valve CC and gut PCV. The catch has it's own benefits still.

Also of importance if you go the dealer route: part of the TSB involves them flashing your ECU. You need to revert to the stock tune or you will loose your tune file. Make sure to ask your tuner if they have support for the updated ECU programming. You may have to go on the stock tune until they do.

The TSB doesn't fix the smoking issue, also it gets a new flash and your tune might not be supported with it.
