Trying to figure out why people do things is difficult at best. Dumping that kind of money into a project then taking that kind of a hit without enjoying it is crazy.
Maybe they fell on hard times and had no choice, who knows.
All I know is whoever bought it from the dealership really made out. Fathouse looks like they do incredible work.

The youtube video said he purchased a carbon gt500. His buddy had one as well. I got the impression it was a consignment. I’d be surprised if he didn’t run the 350 and mods through a business as well and it was a write off. Fathouse’s stuff is definitely top notch.

From what I understand, he’ll be disappointed with the GT500......maybe.
I get the whole “get the baddest out there” mindset but he already had a GT500 destroyer.
Can you imagine if someone like Honey Badger got a hold of that TT350 and turned it into a track machine? I know there is a thing out there called “more power than can be handled” but it sure would be fun to see how a pro would run this thing.
I tell myself, if money were no object, I’d send my car to Fathouse in a second. After having a few seconds to really think about it, it’d be a waste. I’d need a driver mod and a 20 years younger mod to justify it.

Great post, funny. Completely agree, not sure the 500 is a step up from that at all, unless you he just had to have the DCT. I tried to talk myself in to the 30k for there 800 detup, ultimately lost that debate in my head and am going the whipple route.
