it has an engine!
This is an old ass thread lol. But my car doesn't buck or surge, it's procharged auto tuned by Lund. I'd say talk to Lund about it, tell them it's a car you just bought and see how you can go about correcting it. Likely retune it, preferably on a dyno.
At least he searches instead of starting new threads all over. :D

Thanks I didn't even notice how old the thread was. I just searched for bucking and surging and noticed this thread had a lot of info on it. I've heard great things about Lund. Hopefully he can tune the bucking out if it.

Well at first I was doing exactly that... starting new threads on topics alreadu covered. Then I got a clue that searching first might be best.

Don't worry about bro. The way it works on these forums is if you search and reply to an old thread someone will say holy dead thread batman! If you start a new one someone will ask if you know where the search is? It's annoying lol

But...that sure is a nice car you have and I'm sure you'll get it worked out. Do you have a good local dyno tuner around? That's the way I would go.

I don't have a Lund tune but all of my bucking/surging went away when I swapped to a boss intake using the same tuner throughout. I think it was an IMRC issue but could also be cam timing

No starting new threads, search first.
No necro threading from searching.

The forum etiquette catch 22.

I can't wait to procharge mine shooting for
P1sc
8-10psi
93 octane
550hp 450tq

My old Fox coupe was on a Vortec with a girdled stock block a 1,000 lbs lighter than my 2015 and was a blast to drive. I'm looking to a rush similar to that. That car was:

V2 head unit
11psi
93 oct
520 hp 440 tq

Depending on the suspension I'd say the fox will be faster.

Oh I'm sure it will be it was on full maximum motorsports suspension, full cobra brakes, BBS rk 18" wheels, drag radials and a tremec 3550 it was a freight train. She weighed 2872 dry was an awesome ride, but sold her on and someone else is enjoying it.

This was my old setup, my new setup is a 3.85" pulley wastegated to 12-13psi. Haven't been dyno'd yet though, still have more mods to do before i pay to get on the rollers again.
