My a10 18 mustang gt has shifts that to me feel slow compared to my friends ZF8 speed, I want to have crisp and quick downshifts as well and improve the upshifts. Which tuning company has any solutions or at least improves it the most?

Palm Beach Dyno or Lund are the leading tuners

My A10 shifts pretty quick in sport plus or drag mode. A tune can make it shift even quicker than that? I guess I'm happy the way it is, but can understand if you want it to react even faster.

are you willing to risk drivetrain warranty just to get faster shifts?

Yes, Lund and PBD do great things with this tranny. It shifts faster and much harder in every setting. I'd say this is why a tuned car is a couple of tenths faster than a stock car.

Risk = .0001% , have not heard of one tune only car blowing up their drive train

I can see folks that don't have the toggles wanting to do this (300a etc.). If you already have it and go E85 it would probably be a nice addition to that as well.

I would say that is a substantial gain indeed.

the tune may not have anything to do with a failure but if they find it while going through warranty checkout process it will surely be a factor in warranty coverage. i'd say the risk factor is a bit higher than your estimate.

They have to prove the tune caused the problem in order to deny a warranty claim. This had been brought up too many times. It's an unreasonable worry.
