OP - that definitely sounds like the gas tank.This is from when I came home with a full tank. It's still sloshing around.

If not, there's a chance it could be water that has accumulated behind the trunk liner, behind the passenger side rear taillight.
The car is obviously so new, so I hope this is not the case. But there have been some reports of water leaking from a faulty rear window adhesive/sealant, and water leaks into the trunk area, to the right-hand side of the spare tire well. (passenger side) Peel back the liner in the trunk and check, to alleviate any doubts.
FWIW - my buddy who has a 2017 GT is going through this issue right now, he has a water leak, and it pools quite a bit there. Getting the dealer to fix it.
