Difficult to determine the real source. Gas stations may have an issue, or your car may have an issue, or a combination of both.

The reason I include "both", is that when a fuel system carbon filter gets saturated, generally it will trigger a gas pump handle to kick off, and often. If you have a fuel system carbon filter that is bad, and the gas pump is not operating correctly to trip it, you could have the problem you mention. We had a car with a bad carbon filter, but no fault codes were generated. Actually in that case the carbon filter disintegrated and plugged up fuel system lines.

Anyway, you may want to first try a different gas station to see if the issue can be duplicated. If not, then I would start looking at the car.

Thanks. I only have 8000 miles on my 2019 on the car so thinking not enough Miles to clog filter. But I'll try another gas station and see what happens. Thanks

Do you typically "top it off" to round up when it clicks off? If so, you may have filled up your carbon traps

I don't know if it applies to you but it has happened twice to me. It was because the auto shutoff did not work on the pump.

Doing a Google search if the venturi hose in the pump handle gets blocked it'll keep pumping and not click off

It has to be the gas pump nozzle that's at fault. If you had gasoline spewing out of the filler neck it's clearly the nozzle's malfunction. Nothing in your car could cause the fuel to spill out from the filler tube. Like you, I never "top off" when it clicks off, but another thing is I don't use the trigger/lever lock on the nozzle; I always hold it with my hand just in case something goes wrong with it.
