My car is a 15 GT with the PP.

Getting car ready for track use. My factory front pads are probably close to half gone so I am thinking about replacing them for new pads that are slightly better than stock.

I did a search and some people are saying the OEM pads are sufficient for track use. I will be looking at 150mph down to about 60-65 mph in turn 2 at Pacific Raceways. The track is hard on brakes. I will have brake cooling ducts installed.

I have run Hawk HPS on my 05 GT at that track and they sucked. The HP Plus were better, but killed rotors and these are not cheap, plus they are no good for street use.

I have run Carboteh XP20 and they were great. Rotor friendly but the pads disappeared, also not good for street.

SO, what pads should I get?

If you want dual purpose street/light track use pads I would go with ds2500 ferodo pads.

If your ok with swapping out pads for race day I'd go with some GLOC or Carbotech pads.

Let me know!

Are those Ferodos available for non-PP GT ? Or anything else that's decent ?

Ferodo isn't very good about making pads for anything other than brembos, on new cars anyway.

I have GLOC and Carbotech pads for the non pp GT
