The above was my best lap of the day despite that screw up in turn 3. It was hot that day (90s during the morning runs/104 by the afternoon runs), engine oil was just below the yellow all day, diff cooler worked/never went limp or got the light. The trans however was hot as hell, the heat coming up through the center console was alarming. After run 4 i had an issue...rattle noise from the bell housing area. With that and the heat I decided to pack it up for the day. Otherwise the car did great.
Pulled the trans last week...pilot bearing had one single roller missing. Found it in that dead space behind the bearing when i pulled it.
The Steeda Tri-Axe will not work with the Blowfish bracket, so Im selling it. Ad in the classified section under transmissions.
I ordered the Ford Performance Transmission Scoop, and will be selling my Steeda X-Brace. PM me if you interested, Ill have a proper ad up once its off the car.
Need stickier track tires...thinking R888Rs.
