The rear defroster only works when the car is on.

Unit is installed and works great so far. I haven't had a ton of time to go through all the menus and play around with everything....so I have a couple questions for you guys that are vets...sorry for being a noob to this system!

1. On the bluetooth connection, is there any way to change it to say the name of the phone instead of "bluetooth connectivity on"?

2. On the main audio screen, can it display the song/artist/etc from music playing via bluetooth? It shows in the Sync menu, but not the main Audio menu below. Seems like that screen is just for radio/cd/etc on the main audio screen and the home screen. Going from the sync menu and playing bluetooth music to the audio screen switches back to radio.

3. Is there any way to get to this version of the trip screen on Sync3, or is this unique to MFT?

4. Is there a way to recalibrate the speed that the gps shows the car is moving? Mine is off 3-4mph.

Again sorry for the noob questions! Thanks!

Hi, glad everything is working for you ;)

1. Until now I haven't found a way to change or edit that.

2. Good point, it should display the song name played over Bluetooth but I don't think it's technically possible - basically the SYNC menu is your old system (the 4" display) and the rest of the menus and pages are the additional features the unit adds so there must be a software limitation preventing that otherwise it would've been done.

3. You can go to this screen through nav, I'm not sure I understand your question.

4. The GPS speed cannot be recalibrated afaik as it's calculated using the GPS algorithm, take a look at this http://gpssystems.net/accurate-gpsbased-speedometer/

After reading the website, it seems to me that the GPS speedo is more accurate than your car's speedo. If you have a tuner, you can play with the settings to adjust your speedo to the GPS.

That's what I figured, it's in a screen I haven't found yet. When I go into the trip info from GPS, it displays a bunch of info but does not have that graphic...it's just basically a grid.

As far as GPS speed, it doesn't seem to be more accurate than car's speedo. I've set cruise control and gone through a speed readout, and been next to friends with the same set speed. Still seems to be 3-4mph high on the freeway, although around town it seems to be accurate.

Hit bottom left menu or whatever that onscreen soft button is when you're on the map

Can that screen be zoomed/enlarged? Mine looks fairly small compared to the pic I posted.

Anybody having any issues with radio reception? I seem to be having fuzzy reception in certain areas. Not sure if it's being crossed up with something else that was installed.

I'll pm you how to enlarge the nav screen.
I don't think the unit interferes with the radio reception, maybe the signal of the station you're listening to in some areas?

Could just be a coincidence that I noticed with the install, but I don't remember it being this bad. It's generally in the same area and any FM station. Might just be low signal.

I'm still looking for a piece of software to edit the .mrf files. The one I thought would work didn't.

I tried the one that creates mrf from bmp but didn't work.

The problem is finding software that will manipulate them. I have a few pieces of software that will view, but none that will edit, or save to that file format.

I put out a call to an old friend of mine who works in graphic design to see if he has anything laying around.

Had about 3 weeks to play with the Sintegrate unit and overall I'm happy with it. I just wish the screen was better (terrible glare, not bright enough during the day) and the bootleg pony startup screen. The one feature I absolutely love is the ability to play videos. I loaded up the SD car with a ton of music videos, I am such a sucker for such novelties.

Selling my Sintegrate unit as I've swapped it with OEM Sync 3.
But of course I'll keep getting units and supporting with everything.

The unit has all the harnesses with no scratches at all, the screen still has its seal too ;) and of course a front SD slot with Nextgen navigation app.

Asking for $520 shipped.

The unit will have a screen and a bezel without any buttons/knobs (I didn't have the time to take it apart)
