Maybe a dumb question, but, when minimized, will the Nav continue to provide verbal directions?

Mine still tells me I'm over the speed limit when minimized so it may give directions.

So I tried the copyright trick... I does not allow the map to minimize when tapping the top left corner. However, it does remove an annoying bug that I was dealing with.... I have the nextgen nav with a dedicated "exit map" button on the middle right of the screen. Whenever I was moving, if that button was tapped it would take 10-20 sec in order for the maps to close. It was almost like the system would hang for those few seconds. Now that I entered the password this no longer happens. Closing the map is instant now. So it did do something, just not exactly what was shown in the video.

It's so odd, although we [supposedly] bought the same system, it's almost like there are differences. I'll have to check and see if I have an exit map button on middle right.

Anyone have any luck fixing the time issues? the vendor i got my unit from gave me some software that was supposed to fix it and it made it worse. Any help would be appreciated since it is getting more and more frustrating

Dumb thought here is there anyway maybe to run the garmin software... While trying to find Igo nextgen on eBay I kept coming across garmin mini sd cards. Idk just a dumb question

Automatic Time Fix

Just found a very convenient way to correct the time for those who have issues with the time of their units jumping around.

I fixed that by making the unit use the time of the GPS
Pm me for the fix.

I ordered 2 of these SD extension cables (in case one was defective) and plan to run it from the unit, to the glove box where I can mount it for easy access. I do have a concern on clearance between the SD slot and vent trim harness, but I think it'll make it. They're coming from Asia, so once I get them and try it out, I'll let everyone know if it works.
