A Series of Fortunate Events.

As we wrap up bead lock builds for the year I am taking a look back on the program. 5 years ago it was all GT350 and road racing, so the bead lock game was not on our radar. With the GT500 came a new need. I learned quickly how serious drag strip enthusiasts were, and they had been waiting for this platform for a while.
.
One of the cool things about Signature Wheel is having a small team that is plugged into what enthusiasts need. With a little coaxing from Sam at Coastal Dyno, this venture went underway.
.
Scariest part about the endeavor was the success or failure was all on my shoulders. As was all the financial investment. That cost / benefit analysis is enough to make anyone think twice. While headaches arose and some lessons got learned, a few 8 second passes and 50 sets later it has become something I am proud of.
.
With the CFTP owners wanting to go fast in a straight line there was a definite desire to have a bead lock that matched closely to the CFTP wheel. It seems fitting one of our last builds would be fitting that niche.
.
Renee Mousseau’s custom purple wrapped CFTP came together incredibly well on our 18x11 Signature Wheel Precision Series SV703. These are equipped with the Exhibitions Of Speed bead lock enhancement and a custom purple powder coat. The only set of our bead locks to touch Canadian soil.
.
I do not know if I will continue the bead locks into next year, but cars like these definitely move the needle.

Got an incredible opportunity to build a set of wheels for Shaquille O' Neal’s Hellcat Charger.
.
We strongly believe In building and maintaining relationships. In the automotive community you don’t survive if you can’t take care of enthusiasts. You also never know when your reputation might precede you. Thanks to Eric Forbes it led me to crossing paths with the man of steel.
.
When I heard about this project I was more than excited to spec the perfect set of wheels. Utilizing our Signature Wheel Flagship Series Three was a perfect way to take advantage of those wide body flares while providing a wheel engineered to perform. A 20x11 / 20x11.5 staggered fitment was chosen for excellent tire selection and style. A little custom center cap art done for the final touch

This one is a hitter right out of the gate and look forward to hopefully meeting Shaq soon to thank him for the opportunity. Most importantly, thanks to all of you that have been part of this little journey.
