Sidemarker Install ?

Need some help. 2019 Mustang and bought the 15+ Red Side Markers. When it says pull the bulb I’m confused on what all comes out? What’s on my car is not the same as the 18 Install Video on their site. Does the black part on stock light come out too?

I just put some Diode Dynamics markets in mine tonight. It only needed me to pull the glass bulb straight out of the socket.

On yours though, the other marker looks like it has the light in it, so you would just disconnect the grey plug from the black light socket piece I think.

You have the same thing. Grey connector > Black bulb holder > bulb. Each 3 items are Independent of each other.

so pull the black housing out, not just the bulb. i ask because it does not just come out with a pull or twist. made me think i am off track here for such a simple task... lol.

You need to depress the clip on the back of the grey connector and pull the black holder straight out.

I knew it was something obvious, but they dont pull out that far to see that clip. I didnt see them cover that part in the video either. Installed. Much thanks!
