I'm trying to replace my sidemarkers with the LED ones from Diode Dynamics (https://www.diodedynamics.com/store...-sidemarkers-for-2015-2016-ford-mustang-pair/) and am having trouble removing the passenger side sidemarker. The driver's side pops out easily, but no matter how much pressure I apply on the clip on the passenger's side, it doesn't move. I was thinking of taking a pair of pliers to it but I don't want to damage or break the clip. What's the safest way to remove this?

Make sure your putting pressure on the right side. I could be wrong but if I remember right I think the clip was on the opposite side on the pass side vs. the driver side.

They did take a bit of work to get out for me. But no harm in using pliers really, even if the clip breaks its part of the old light housing which you'll be replacing. Just be sure not to damage the body.

I had to use pliers on mine as well. Busted on of the clips but not an issue as I was throwing them out anyway

Use the smallest pliers you have and squeeze gently and you'll come out. That's what I did. My fingers aren't manly enough to get the job done :(.

I used a stubby flathead screwdriver.
Wedge it against the clip and twist.
Pops right out.

Thanks everyone, I'll try to do it carefully with pliers or a screwdriver.
