Side stripe lifting

Installed the Mach 1 side stripe on my gt over a year ago, got the product from audiodesignshop.com . Yesterday I noticed on the passenger side front fender where the stripe starts, about an inch and a half was lifting. Anyway to repair this or am I going to have to buy the whole stripe again?

whole new stripe I believe. It will never stay down IMO. either bad glue or not fully de greased when new one went down.

Emmanuel: Odds are, you'll have to live with it or replace it but before you do, pick up one of these little chingassos. Then, clean both surfaces well with IPA and finally, apply some adhesive to both. Press firmly for a minute or more and then cross your fingers.

What typically happens is dirt and water get behind the vinyl and decrease the number of contact points which eventually allows the vinyl to lift.

How long it holds depends on how badly the adhesive was masked by the dirt.
