This is my exact concern, the "feature" is managed by a PCM (or programmable chip) it has a bug like software do at times. Ford chip dev's put in so fix code but will it really take? Being an IT network/infosec nerd I know tech vendors add "rich" features and break shit all the time. My 2020 GT did this the other day and I'll go with the tap two times solution. I'd have Ford fix it if it did it like 3 times a week, still in warranty.Dealer fixed mine approximately 2 years ago and it has now started to do it again.
