This thread has me thinking of going 25 instead of 18% with my Magnetic. 20 seems to be a little dark for Magnetic. At least as far as looks goes. I would probably like the privacy and heat resistance aspect of 18% though.

Dark looks really nice from the outside. Driving at night sucks though. Your windows will turn into mirrors at night and reflect all the dash lights. I had 20% all the way around on my 05 Mustang GT.

NY limit is 70% for the sides, and no limit on the back, but I want them to all match. I am thinking maybe 50%, but would ceramic tints appear to be a little lighter than they are? I figure 50% probably won't get noticed by the cops. Last thing I need are tickets.

Same here, legal limit is 70 on sides but I'm thinking thats not really worth it, might as well go a bit darker. Anyone have pictures of 50 or 70%?

i always heard putting tint on the front windshield was a big no no..but so many of you have done it. Does it not effect your visiblity in say rainy/foggy or otherwise non optimal conditions?

I was thinking the same thing to and I'm from Australia. Here in Australia the police would just slap an 'unroadworthy' sticker on the vehicle and force you to rip it off. I guess you guys are so lucky being allowed to tint the windscreen, it makes the vehicle look awesome.

I don't drive my car as a DD with only 70% so its not bad...actually helps at night wit HID'S in your eyes
