young at heart - I actually bought this kit off of Amazon(see below) and am doing myself. A neighbor who used to do this type of work suggested this product and so far I have been very impressed by the results and how easy it is to apply. On my previous car, I used a product that was $600, and honestly, I can't really tell any difference except this is much cheaper . Since my car is new, I didn't have to do as much prep as I did on my 19' which helped a lot. If you have had your car a while, you would need to go through a few steps in order to prep the surface for coating. You want it to be a good as possible before applying similar to a paint job is only as good as the prep. I know some will scoff at using this because it's not the expensive ceramic coating. but for what we have, I think it works great.

Just cleaned the paint and re-sealed my HPP w HP. Rapid Red, just a great color!
I've been using Pinnacle Natural Brilliance products on this car since having it professionally done after delivery March 2020. Bodywork Shampoo, Paintwork Cleaning Lotion and SiO2 Sealer. No, not ceramic put I get beautiful results and it's quite durable. Probably helps the car is garaged!

As a fellow Rapid Red owner I gotta say your results are indeed beautiful! I’ve always thought it was a special color because it’s the closest thing I’ve found to old ‘60s candy apple red.

Thank you! I feel the same way about the Candy Apple similarity. I don't usually express that because it was such as iconic color.

Yeah not to mention it kinda dates you a little. In my case, a lot!

Mazda has candy apple red (although they don't call it that) on their CX-5. If the Mustang came in that color I would not have ordered Kona Blue. :)

Got the poor thing out from underneath its cover for some much-needed exercise after work today.

As the orchardists pruned their fruit trees, I belted along my favorite road, the big 4.0 rasped it's way to the 6,000rpm red line, the brakes getting a bit too hot for their liking.

Two things, the Barra isn't especially happy over those last 200-300 rpm, it's best work done between 4,000 and 5,500 rpm. And those brakes are crap, getting stinky with little provocation! I would do something about it if I knew how.
