Should I put stripes on my ‘18 Kona Blue GT?

I have Kona Blue PP2 and think it looks better without stripes. Even if I bought a GT350 (except Heritage edition or whatever it's called) or GT500 I would likely go with no stripes. The only stripes I've really liked were the Boss 302's but even certain colors on 2012's were not good.

Hey guys, I’ve had my ‘18 GT pp1, with 15k miles, for about 6 weeks and love it so far! I’m starting to think about doing some mods and stuff, and I’ve always liked the racing stripes. Since Kona is pretty dark, my color choices are limited. I’d love to do matte black, but I think it would get lost in the blue. So I’m thinking white with a thin red pinstripe would look cool. I saw that combo on a gt350 and it looked great - red, white, and blue for an American muscle car, lol. I’d do the thinner stripes like on the gt350, I think they’re 7 inches. Anyway, just wanted to get some opinions from you guys. And I’ll buy lunch for anyone who can do a good photoshop job on my pics to give me an idea of what it would look like!

I got mine from AliExpress. They're not a chrome finish though, more like very finely brushed aluminum.

yeah, i tried that approach as well, but i needed the extra 67HP and went with real stripes, lol l

It's your car, if you like stripes then put them on. The S550 looks good with or without.

Totally personal choice, but had mine done in white...just two stripes, no pin striping. I figured I can always get the vinyl removed

I just picked up a Kona Blue 2018 Ecoboost Vert. I am about to put bright metallic green wide stripes with pinstripes and door panel matching stripes. Ordered from Bigworm and super excited to get it done. Blue and green is my favorite color combo and Kona Blue is definitely my favorite color. Will be posting pics next week when they're installed.

I've got Oxford White w/ Kona Blue stripes. My second choice was that - flipped - a Kona Blue body with white stripes. I think it looks pretty classy with the stripes, but it's a great color regardless.
