Hey guys! On Thursday, I am going to get a long-waited beautiful 2015 Ford Mustang V6 auto in either race red or competition orange.

I am right now in the stress of negotiating with dealers from paying a $25,000-$25,800 (MSRP) sticker price. My company I work for is also supports Ford's "X-Plan" for their partnership.

I already got an approved loan in hand at 2.8% with my bank for $23,000. I plan on putting around $5,000 down.

So far, I have a dealer near the Orlando area that I've talked to today that gave me a final price: http://tinypic.com/r/2j65ysh/8

Do you think it's a good deal? Is there much more I could do?

Thank you folks very much for reading! :ford::ford::ford:

Why don't you just go to the X Plan site, enter your partnership code and check the x plan price yourself? There's no negotiating or haggling with X Plan, I doubt you'll do better than X Plan. Florida dealers charge ridiculous dealer fees and they can easily bump the price up by quite a bit. Why Orlando? I didn't pay a local area tax either. Dealer installed alarm for how much? Without all the details it's hard to say if it's a good deal. Personally, I would be weary of how much the dealer installed alarm is, x plan rules state that dealers can charge whatever on top of x plan for their installed items. Aren't you in Miami? There's plenty of dealerships closer, you don't have to shop around for x plan prices, unless dealers won't accept it. X Plan prices are set by Ford.

On a side note, I don't understand how you make less than $1000 a month and can afford a $25k car. Will you live with your Mom until it's paid off? As others have said in your other thread, it would be much wiser to pick up a 14 for much cheaper.

Obviously, you've made your decision so good luck with your purchase and I hope you don't default on the loan and mess up your mom's credit.

It's $500 that the X-Plan deducts off the MSRP.

And I live about 95 miles from the dealership in Kissimmee that's contacting me, but about 66 miles from Mullinax Ford in West Palm. I live almost in between on the coast. I went through the one in Kissimmee through TrueCar, so I am not sure how good they are or not. Sales tax in Kissimmee are at 7%, whereas Palm Beach county is 6%. The "dealer installed alarm" is $395 extra.

The upfront price that Mullinax Ford in WPB is quoting me on one model (same one, except no enhanced security package) is $24,700, but that's without X-Plan applied, sales tax, dealership fees, regional fees, destination fees, etc.

No X Plan deducts a lot more than $500 from MSRP.

MSRP: $23,800
X-Plan: $23,013

Wow, I saved a lot more with X plan but mine was closer to $38,000 MSRP plus $800 dealer fee, I ended up paying $35,400 (give or take a few I don't have my paper work in front of me) no dealer fee with x plan less $1250 in incentives.

I'm in the same state and I checked the entire state when I was looking, price with X Plan was the same. Georgia and North Carolina too!

X plan = Dealer Invoice - (0.4% Dealer Invoice) + Administration Fee. Ford doesn't make different pricing rules for every county and state. If there are any incentives they are deducted from the x plan price.
